This report gives you a basic history and idea of what TCP/IP is. And where and why you would the TCP/IP protocol. The primary focus is on TCP/IP and the Internet. TCP/IP and the Internet go hand and hand together. You have to use one for the other. So I will cover the history of the Internet as well as the history of TCP/IP.
